How Can We Help You
We are a full-service concierge medicine clinic that specializes in providing regenerative medicine treatments. As a result, we tend to offer more medical treatments and services than is possible to list on our website. Below, we have listed some of our most popular alternative treatment regimens for patients with a variety of different conditions. Take a look at all treatments we offer.
Conditions We Treat
Our clinic has the capability to treat a variety of diseases and conditions. We offer general medical services such as routine physical exams and visits for medication refills. We specialize in the use of regenerative medicine treatments for conditions that have very few or insufficient treatments available, such as foot pain secondary to diabetic neuropathy or knee pain caused by arthritis. We also provide traditional and non-traditional medical treatments for common men's health conditions such as erectile dysfunction and low testosterone. Take a look at more conditions we treat.
What is regenerative medicine?
Regenerative medicine involves the usage of new biologic treatment applications to treat conditions such as injury, pain, and other chronic diseases. The use of these treatments attempts to capitalize on the body's innate ability to heal itself, one of the principles of osteopathic medicine.
The ability of the human body to heal itself is no secret. When you accidentally get a cut on the skin, the skin will heal itself. With broken bones, although the fracture is usually casted, it is the body that heals the fracture, not the physician nor a medication. Still today, despite the tremendous advances in medicine, the recommended treatment for the common cold is to wait for the body to heal.
Although the body is capable of healing itself, modern medicine and technology has enabled physicians and medical professionals to accelerate and support the healing process. For example, treatment of a bacterial infection will likely have better outcomes when antibiotics are prescribed. A ruptured muscle tendon or ligament will not magically reattach itself - it requires the intervention of a surgeon.
Regenerative medicine attempts to use the human body's various substances to accelerate the healing process. One regenerative medicine treatment is the use of human platelets and plasma in the form of PRP (platelet rich plasma) or PRF (platelet rich fibrin). These substances are rich in chemicals created by the human body that encourage healing such as growth factors, cytokines, and others. These chemicals have been shown to encourage the recruitment of the body's own stem cells, which promote the regeneration of human tissue, among other functions.
